Community Liaison Panel Meeting

Pre-design efforts at the Columba Falls Aluminum Company (CFAC) site are progressing. Geotechnical work was completed in late 2025, and additional design and sampling will begin in the late spring/early summer of 2026.

CFAC, in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), will host a Community Liaison Panel (CLP) meeting to provide an update on completed work, geotechnical findings, and upcoming pre-design efforts under a Unilateral Administrative Order (UAO).

The CLP meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Hub Downtown, 533 1st Ave E in Columbia Falls.

The meeting is open to the public, and time will be provided at the end for questions from attendees. Please note that this meeting is not part of a formal comment period, and comments and questions from the public will not be recorded as such.
