Business Description
Since 1981, Montana Coffee Traders has been roasting fine coffees in an old farmhouse in Whitefish. In this tiny mountain town in northwest Montana over 3,000 feet above sea level, our beans are roasted at almost exactly the same altitude at which they grow. Coincidence? Maybe. Perfection? Definitely! We roast using Sivetz Fluid Bed roasters where only precisely heated clean mountain air gently roasts the coffee. We package and ship our coffee immediately after roasting, so our customers drink it at the peak of freshness.
After more than a quarter century in business, MCT's roots run deep through our community. Since the beginning, R.C. Bealls focus has been selling the best coffee possible, maintaining happy employees and contributing positively to the community and the environment. Whenever possible, we buy organic, fair trade and shade grown certified coffees and strive to operate in a manner that respects, supports and profits the people, the communities and the land that sustains us.
As a result, our customers feel more like family than customers. Whether you've been with us since our humble beginnings in our old farmhouse or you found us on your summer vacation to Glacier National Park, we are committed to bringing you exceptional and delicious coffees from around the world. Get to know us if you haven't already; we'll make it worth your while.
Columbia Falls Cafe
Montana Coffee Traders expanded to the east side of the valley in 2004 when it re-opened the old Pines Cafe doors in Columbia Falls, offering a full breakfast and lunch menu. Sit and stay awhile or take away our brown-bag Hiker to nearby Glacier National Park. Gather around its namesake pine tree with Columbia Falls regulars, and you'll find the same great selection of local art, Montana Made products, and unique gift options.
