Columbia Falls’ Night of Lights parade is a fun-filled annual community gathering in Columbia Falls.Individuals, local businesses, community groups, youth organizations and others get together to show off their Christmas spirit in the downtown area.
Line up starts at 5:00 PM near the intersection of Nucleus Avenue and Rail Road Street. Judging starts at 5:30 PM. The theme is “A Christmas Celebration”. Please do not have Santa on your float (he will arrive at the end of the parade) and, for safety, do not throw candy from float or vehicle (the practice draws kids into the path of the parade).
The parade route starts at the Post Office and proceeds down Nucleus to 5th Street. Festivities continue at the Coop, with caroling, warming fires, cocoa, vendors and a live nativity scene.
Want to be in the parade?
*Anyone* can participate, just get yourself and your float, vehicles etc in line. Participants line up their floats, groups and such on the north end of Nucleus, starting at 5:00pm. There is an entry fee of $10.00 OR a donation of food for the food bank of equivalent value.
