Montana Earth Pottery

Made in Montana of Montana

Whether you are looking for a beautiful piece of pottery for yourself or as a gift, you will find something unique at Montana Earth Pottery. Using native clay from the deposits left by Glacier Lake Missoula in the Clark Fork River drainage west of Missoula.  Montana Earth Pottery has grown into a lifelong endeavor to create beatiful and functional works in clay.  The glaze colors and decorative motifs are inspired by the beauty of the landscape, flora and fauna of Northwest Montana and Glacier Park. This pottery is distinctly unique not only because of the clay, glazes and designs, but because we also incorporate sand from the Flathead River into our clay body and minerals from a road cut near Nevada Creek Reservoir between Clearwater Junction and Avon Montana, giving a unique character to the speckled base glae used on many of our pieces.  Truly a piece of Montana, Montana Earth Pottery is lead free and can be used in the microwave and put in the dishwasher.
