July 2017 Newsletter

06 Jul

If the 177,256 people who visited Glacier National Park in May is any indication, it should be another record breaking summer.

Soon enough we will be celebrating our community’s history and heritage with Heritage Days.   Your Chamber’s Events Committee has been hard at work putting together the Heritage Days 3 on 3 Basketball tournament.  If you or your business are interested in becoming a sponsor or would like to volunteer please contact the Chamber.

After many years of service, Past Chamber President and Director, Jim Oliverson is stepping down from the board.  Jim brought a depth of wisdom and a consistent encouraging voice to our organization.  His efforts have raised our Chamber up to where it is today.  We owe Jim a big thank you for all he has done for our communities.  We wish Jim all our best in his future adventures.

Each of you has taken a risk, followed your heart and chose to have your business here.  You provide the jobs and services that keep our communities, from West Glacier to Columbia Falls, healthy and growing.  It might be repetitive, but it can’t be said enough, THANK YOU for making our communities some of the best around.

I look forward to seeing each of you throughout the summer months!

Mark L. Johnson

President, Board of Directors
