Since 1992 we have been working to secure policies that will keep the Flathead the place we love as it changes and grows. Since 1992 the population of the Flathead Valley has almost doubled from 62,949 to over 110,000 today, which has brought a lot of change. How the Flathead grows is important to all of us. This event is an informal opportunity to gather, celebrate, and learn a bit more about the work CBF does.

Join Executive Director, Doug Mitchell, on Zoom to have a discussion with author Andrea Lankford about her book, Ranger Confidential. Register for free at: https://glacier.org/glacier-book-club/
About The Book: For twelve years, Andrea Lankford lived in the biggest, most impressive national parks in the world, working a job she loved. She chaperoned baby sea turtles on their journey to sea. She pursued bad guys on her galloping patrol horse. She jumped into rescue helicopters bound for the heart of the Grand Canyon. She won arguments with bears. She slept with a few too many rattlesnakes. Ranger Confidential is the story behind the scenery of the nation’s crown jewels—Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Great Smokies, Denali. In these iconic landscapes, where nature and humanity constantly collide, scenery can be as cruel as it is redemptive.
