Current Executive Director Stacey Schnebel to redirect her entrepreneurial talents to her existing local businesses and explore new opportunities
Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce begins its search for a new Executive Director this month. Current Executive Director, Stacey Schnebel, stepped down from the Board of Directors in May, 2016, to assume the role and complete the transition of the organization after long-time Director Carol Pike retired. “It has been a gratifying process” stated Schnebel. “I am proud of the work we have done to define our membership and our position in the marketplace. This is an exciting time for a new Director to take the reins and go big for our business community.”
Schnebel is a partner in two small businesses in the area, UnderCurrent Web and Stonefly Lounge, as well as serving as Trustee at Flathead Electric Cooperative. She will be returning her energy to her businesses, and looks forward to growing them in the successful business climate she has helped to foster in the Columbia Falls area. “The Board of Directors has been very happy with the organizational direction and promotion Ms. Schnebel has brought to our chamber membership” said Mark Johnson, President of the Board of Directors. “We wish her the best in her business pursuits, and know we won’t have a chance to miss her – she’ll still be working with the community in a different capacity.”
The Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to foster and promote the prosperity and growth of its members and the civic, commercial, industrial and agricultural interests of the community in a way which maintains a small town, family oriented character.
