Newspapers (and their websites) make it easy to check out what’s going on before you have a chance to visit. Here are 3 local papers that you’ll find helpful:

• The Hungry Horse News, our Pulitzer prize winning weekly photo newspaper. This will give you a feel for the culture of our town and start to get a feel for what’s going on right here at home from week to week.
• The Flathead Beacon, the Flathead Valley’s new media newspaper, tends to cover a wider view of news, the arts, politics, schools, sports and culture in the Valley.
• The Daily Interlake is the valley’s mainstream daily printed newspaper, and will give you a view that is different from the Flathead Beacon and more wide-ranging than the Hungry Horse News.
