Are you considering a move to Columbia Falls – or have you already decided to join our community?

If so, the Chamber will be happy to answer any questions you might have, however we recommend some initial research to make the process easier.

Here’s a list of suggestions that might help:

Get a handle on our community.

Take a look at the Columbia Falls community profile

Learn about life and the culture of the Flathead Valley

Newspapers (and their websites) make it easy to check out what’s going on before you have a chance to visit. Here are 3 local papers that you’ll find helpful:

The Hungry Horse News, our Pulitzer prize winning weekly photo newspaper. This will give you a feel for the culture of our town and start to get a feel for what’s going on right here at home from week to week.

The Flathead Beacon, the Flathead Valley’s new media newspaper, tends to cover a wider view of news, the arts, politics, schools, sports and culture in the Valley.

The Daily Interlake is the valley’s mainstream daily printed newspaper, and will give you a view that is different from the Flathead Beacon and more wide-ranging than the Hungry Horse News.

If you own a business…

Here are some State of Montana resources for business owners.

Still have questions?

Contact us using this handy form, or see our contact page for a complete list of ways to contact the Chamber. If we don’t know the answer, we can probably refer you to someone who does.
